Altimate Care Services wants you to know that one of the most positive ways one can support is to offer advanced non-medical home treatment for people with Alzheimer’s, dementia or cognitive change. Most patients with symptoms can be cared for at home instead of in nursing homes or other facilities , especially those in the early and middle stages of the illness.
Our home care is designed to support you with day-to-day personal and domestic tasks so that you can live as independently as possible in your own home. Our trained home carers can help with the following tasks:
• eating and drinking
• washing and bathing
• dressing and undressing
• going to bed and getting up
• going to the toilet
They can also help with domestic tasks, such as preparing meals, shopping, laundry and ironing.
We will work with you to ensure you have complete confidence in your medication management, the support level will be determined following a thorough assessment to identify where and how we can help you to get the maximum benefit.
